Oscar A. Carlson 2020 WR Target Ian Stewart Recaps Weekend Michigan Visit

Rockwood (Mich.) Oscar A. Carlson 2020 three-star wide receiver Ian Stewart once again made an appearance at the Big House for Michigan’s 31-20 win against Indiana on Nov. 17.

Stewart has been to Ann Arbor multiple times this season and even more throughout his high school career.

Coach Jim Harbaugh offered Stewart on June 18, 2018, setting up for three other Big Ten Conference teams – Michigan State, Purdue and Ohio State – to follow suit.

On Stewart’s most recent trip to Michigan, he did the same as always. The athlete ate lunch, talked with the staff, went on the field for pregame warmups and headed to his seat.

“After the game, we went back on the field and walked back to the room we always meet in,” Stewart said.

Even though Stewart’s been to Michigan multiple times, he was making an effort to get to know the coaching staff even better on Saturday.

“I just touched base,” Stewart said. “I’m trying to better get to know each other. They were all asking me how basketball was and about my coach. Stuff like that.”

Stewart is ranked No. 354 in the nation, No. 69 at wide receiver and No. 9 in Michigan, per 247Sports Composite.
