Updates on Berkley Edwards' Condition Post-Indiana

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan was attempting to leave its Week Twelve game against Indiana with little to no injuries, but it ended up being costly.

While the injury to Chase Winovich looms large, the special teams hit on Michigan senior legacy RB Berkley Edwards was a scary one, as the grad transfer laid motionless on the field after a hit where he was targeted.

He was took off the field on the cart, but it sounds like things aren’t as bad as they seemed in the moment.

His brother, prolific wide receiver Braylon Edwards took to social media to share that the younger Edwards is seemingly okay.

After the game, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh echoed that everything looked to be precautionary in the way things were handled after the injury.

“Everything looked good when he left the stadium,” Harbaugh said. “He did have a concussion. A pretty good concussion — Looked good when he left here, but he was taken to the hospital for precautions.”
