Michigan Stays at No. 4 in AP Top 25 Poll

The coaches have Michigan at No. 4, and that’s where Michigan entered the week in all three polls. After a 42-7 drubbing of Rutgers in Piscataway (N.J.), did the AP voters feel the same?

Turns out, yes, as Michigan remained ranked at No. 4 this week.

Although the debate rages on, as SEC one-loss team Georgia is right behind at No. 5. There’s plenty of speculation that the Bulldogs could (or should, according to SEC hard hats) be the No. 4 team.

Michigan does have a win over No. 16 Penn State and No. 24 Northwestern (who clinched the Big Ten West this week and will play either Michigan or OSU in Indianapolis) and finishes the regular season against No. 9 Ohio State.
