Michigan Holds Steady in Latest Amway Coaches Poll

Last week, Michigan was ranked No. 4 across all three of the polls and rankings — the Amway Coaches Poll, the AP Top 25 and the College Football Playoff Rankings.

And after Michigan defeated Rutgers 42-7, the coaches were confident that Michigan should remain at No. 4.

There were a handful of small changes in the top ten of the poll this week, with West Virginia jumping Ohio State, who struggled mightily — albeit still winning by 20 — in East Lansing on Saturday.

With Penn State having beaten Wisconsin, Michigan now has one head-to-head win over a Top 25 team in the coaches poll, with No. 8 Ohio State looming at the season’s end.
