Tim Baldwin Commits to Michigan

Michigan has officially added its sixth commit to the 2020 class.

Following a heavy push from Michigan running backs coach Jay Harbaugh and tight ends coach Al Washington, four-star running back Tim Baldwin made his commitment to join the Wolverines.

From Ashburn (Va.) Broad Run, Baldwin picked Michigan over Boston College, Maryland, Old Dominion, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia and West Virginia.

“After careful consideration of which program gives me the best opportunities, I have chosen to cut (my) recruitment short because I believe Michigan will do just that and more,” he said.

Baldwin is Michigan’s sixth commit in the 2020 class. Others include four-star defensive tackle Denver Warren, four-star wide receiver Kalil Branham, four-star cornerback Andre Seldon, three-star linebacker Cornell Wheeler and three-star tight end Nick Patterson.

The 5-foot-11, 187-pound running back is ranked No. 247 in the nation, No. 26 at his position and No. 7 in Virginia, according to 247Sports.
