2021 OC Ryan Linthicum Talks Offer From Michigan

Damascus (Md.) 2021 center Ryan Linthicum did not expect an offer from Michigan, but that didn’t stop Jim Harbaugh from delivering it on Oct. 24.

Linthicum plays at Demascus High School, the same program 2020 five-star defensive end Bryan Bresee – the No. 1 overall player in his class.

Bresee is highly considering Michigan and so is Linthicum.

“Coach Jim (Harbaugh) came to my school and talked to my coaches,” Linthicum said. “Then, my coaches let me know.

“It felt crazy. I was honestly just so excited and blessed.”

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound center now has offers to Maryland, Michigan and Ohio State.

“I know Michigan is a great program with a great coaching staff,” he added.

Growing up, Linthicum was a Penn State fan. He is also close with Bresee, and he said there “might be a chance” the two end up together at the college level.

Linthicum plays center, offensive guard and defensive tackle.
