Michigan Moves Up into Top 4 in Latest Amway Coaches Poll

The Amway Coaches Poll is essentially meaningless at this point of the season, now with the College Football Playoff rankings being a thing, but we can at least get an idea of what that Tuesday-released poll might have in store for the Wolverines, and how good the nation sees Michigan, especially in the eyes of the coaches.

Well, if the season ended today, Michigan would be in.

On Sunday, the Amway Coaches Poll was released, and the Wolverines made it into the top four, being ranked at exactly No. 4.

However, having dispatched its last three ranked opponents in the past four weeks, only one remains the top 25 — Penn State fell from No. 14 to No. 20 after the 42-7 loss at the hands of the maize and blue.

Still, the season finale in Columbus looms large, with Ohio State coming in ranked No. 7.
