Jim Harbaugh Appears on Cleveland Browns Next Head Coach Odds

It isn’t even November yet and Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh is already having his name thrown into the head coaching position somewhere else outside of Ann Arbor.

On Monday, the Cleveland Browns fired head coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley and the sports betting website BetOnline.ag already had their odds at who could be the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Harbaugh is on the list, but not as high as he usually is when fans and the media talk about who can replace a fired head coach. The fact that he is still appearing on these lists is something to how good of a coach he still is that NFL teams could still want him despite being out of the league for four seasons.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is on this list as well, so they really are putting anyone that they believe is a good coach enough to jump to the Browns franchise.

Michigan fans, don’t worry about this at all. Harbaugh hasn’t been interested in the NFL since arriving at Michigan in 2015, he rejected the Oakland Raiders offer before coming to his alma mater. Harbaugh still has a lot left to prove at this school, with beating Ohio State, winning a conference championship, and a National championship as those top three goals left in his tenure.

If he were to achieve all three this season do his odds of leaving increase? I doubt it. He doesn’t seem like he would just take his winnings and run. Harbaugh doesn’t run from a challenge and defending his championships if he wins them is the most Harbaugh thing out there. Harbaugh would want you to take it from his dead hands, rather than just let it go.

So overall, just relax. Harbaugh isn’t leaving Michigan anytime soon. This is just your yearly “Harbaugh to the NFL” talk.
