Predicting The Final Four Games For The Michigan Wolverines

It isn’t good to look ahead and overlook your opponent. This week there isn’t one so we can cheat and look ahead for the rest of the season for the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan is ranked 5th in the AP polls and beginning Tuesday that could change dramatically as the College Football Playoff rankings will be revealed and Michigan could move up or down. The fact they aren’t playing a week this is a factor into the committee’s decision as well.

So let’s have some fun and look at the next four games for the Michigan Wolverines to see how their season could finish out.

Week 10: Vs. 17 Penn State

This game could be more impactful if Penn State can beat Iowa this week, but as of right now Penn State shouldn’t scare the Wolverines. Penn State has blown leads in big games this year at home, and now on the road against the best team in the Big Ten, good luck dealing with that.

Michigan will hopefully get back defensive end Rashan Gary or wide receiver Tarik Black back with an extra week of rest. Michigan has Penn State in their sights on their “revenge tour” and the way Michigan has played in these type of games has been impressive.

Michigan Wins 35-17

Week 11: @ Rutgers

There isn’t much to say about this game. Remember in 2016 when Michigan went into Rutgers and won 78-0? It could be worse this time around. Rutgers had two wins going into that game, this year they have one and that was in week one.

Michigan is going to wipe the floor with Rutgers and the backups will have their way with them in the end. This isn’t even going to be close.

Michigan Wins 80-0

Week 12: Vs. Indiana

Indiana has been weird this year. They have given some teams issues, but haven’t been able to put the game away when it matters most. Michigan could see this as a trap game before Ohio State and they can’t look too far ahead as it could cost them dearly.

Indiana will be testy and give Michigan a fight, but the Wolverines are the better team in the end and take the win and head to Colombus 10-1.

Michigan Wins 28-10

Week 13: @ 11 Ohio State

This game will most likely determine who is going to the Big Ten Championship game as both teams should win out before the big showdown. Michigan will have to play a solid game to defeat Ohio State, but it is looking easier by the week.

With Nick Bosa out, the defense has been struggling. They let Indiana have a good half, Minnesota was putting up a fight and they let Purdue drop 49 points on them. The offense behind quarterback Dwayne Haskins is good, but not great. The offensive line isn’t creating holes for the running backs and putting pressure on Haskins is the key to this game and with Michigan’s front seven, that shouldn’t be an issue.

Michigan Wins 31-21
