Zeb Jackson Commits to Michigan

Michigan basketball has added its first member to the 2020 recruiting class.

The name? Zeb Jackson.

Jackson, who announced his commitment to Michigan on Oct. 23, is a four-star shooting guard from Maumee (Ohio).

He is ranked No. 66 in the nation, No. 18 at his position and No. 2 in Ohio, according to 247Sports Composite.

The 6-foot-2, 160-pound guard had offers to play for Arizona State, Butler, Marquette, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue, Cincinnati, Dayton, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Providence, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wisconsin and Xavier.

Jackson’s Final 7 included Butler, Ohio State, Michigan, Arizona State, Michigan State, Purdue and Marquette. The Wolverines offered him on Sept. 20, 2018.

Michigan coach John Beilein’s 2019 recruiting class includes four-star small forward Jalen Wilson and four-star small forward Cole Bajema.

Jackson is Beilein’s first 2020 commit.
