Michigan Moves Up in AP Top 25

Michigan sat at No. 6 in the AP Top 25 poll heading into its rivalry game against No. 24 Michigan State.

Following the road victory against MSU, and Purdue’s 29-point upset of No. 2 Ohio State, the Wolverines moved up.

Alabama remained the No. 1 overall team, followed by Clemson, Notre Dame and LSU. Michigan jumped to No. 5, one spot ahead of its rank last week.

Ohio State dropped nine spots from No. 2 to No. 11 due to its 49-20 loss to Purdue.

Other Big Ten Conference teams in the AP Top 25 poll include No. 17 Penn State and No. 18 Iowa.

The biggest jump was Washington State, who went from No. 25 to No. 14 after a 34-20 win over Oregon. The Ducks fell seven spots to No. 19 overall.
