ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Coming off a big 38-13 win against Wisconsin last night, Michigan is now moving towards their next opponent, Michigan State. This game is one of the few circled on the Wolverines schedule as a huge game and with Michigan State upsetting No. 8 Penn State yesterday, now they are coming in with confidence.
Michigan cornerback Lavert Hill had a pick-six against Wisconsin last night and said this game was a statement game for the team since they lost to Wisconsin last year they wanted revenge, and it looks like Michigan State is the same way as well.
“It’s personal for me,” Hill said. “You gotta go out there and just play hard and get a W. We just play every game just like every game, but this one just means a lot to Michigan program so we have to do our job this week.”
Hill wouldn’t go into the reason why this game is personal for him when asked about it.
“It’s just personal for me, that’s all it is,” Hill said. “It’s an every game thing now so we just gotta win out and just like our coaches say, everything is in front of us so we just gotta go out there just get W’s.”
Michigan travels to East Lansing on Saturday, Oct. 20 at noon as they take on their in-state rival Michigan State in what should be a very gritty game.
