Michigan Up Three in Week Six AP Top 25

Michigan was sitting at No. 15 in the Week Five AP Top 25, but after a big win over Maryland, and teams like LSU losing, the Wolverines made a move up.

Texas — whose sole loss is to the Maryland team Michigan just dismantled — jumped the maize and blue, moving all the way up to No. 9. But the Wolverines are now sitting just outside the Top 10, ranked No. 12.

Coming up next, Michigan will have a big matchup, with Wisconsin sliding into the recently vacated No. 15 spot. Week One opponent Notre Dame moved up to No. 5 overall after taking down Va. Tech.

Michigan still faces No. 3 Ohio State, No. 8 Penn State and unranked MSU this season.
