Opponent Watch: Northwestern's Prolific APB Retires For Medical Reasons

Sad news coming out of Evanston as sophomore running back Jeremy Larkin is retiring due to health reasons.

As Michigan prepares to face Northwestern in Evanston on Saturday with film study on Monday, they will do so now knowing that it will do so not having to face the prolific, do-it-all back. In just three games, Larkin accumulated 473 yards of offense, with 346 yards rushing and 127 yards receiving. His average of 157 yards-per-game was third in the Big Ten for all-purpose yards, behind just Purdue’s Rondale Moore and Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor.

The Wolverines will kick off from Ryan Field on Saturday at 4:30PM EST.
