Peoples-Jones Wins B1G Co-Special Teams Player of the Week

The moment that Michigan second-year Donovan Peoples-Jones returned a second-half punt for a touchdown, he was destined for an award by the conference.

And on Monday, that’s precisely what happened.

While Peoples-Jones has to share the conference recognition for special teams along with MSU kicker Matt Coghlin, after his enigmatic 60 yard touchdown return, the former five-star did indeed receive Big Ten Co-Special Teams Player of the Week.

Thus marks the third week in a row that Peoples-Jones has found the end zone, as he got his first receiving score in Week Two against Western Michigan and got three touchdowns in Week Three against SMU.
