Lewis Cine seemingly can’t get enough of Ann Arbor.
Following the Cedar Hill (Texas) Trinity Christian 2019 four-star safety’s official visit to Michigan on June 22, Cine is headed back on Sept. 22 to see the Wolverines play Nebraska.
“I’m really taking this visit to enjoy myself and relax,” Cine said. “Basically, I’m just enjoying what this process has to offer.”
He will also check out Texas on Sept. 15 for an unofficial visit, Georgia for an official visit on Sept. 29 and Florida for an official visit on Oct. 6.
Cine said he will make his commitment soon after his trip to see the Gators.
The primary recruiters from Michigan in hot pursuit of Cine are linebackers coach Chris Partridge and defensive coordinator Don Brown. After his official visit, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound defensive back was unsure if he’d return to Ann Arbor.
As the relationships with Partridge, Brown and others grew, so did Cine’s desire to return to the Big House.
“My bond with the coaches has only grown since (the official visit),” Cine said. “We talk more often. They’ve always been up there and that’s why I’m heading to the game. It’s just relationships are better.”
Cine has a top list of Michigan, Penn State, Georgia, Texas and Florida, and he will consider those programs before committing.
The safety is ranked No. 50 in the nation, No. 3 at his position and No. 7 in Texas, according to 247Sports Composite.
