FUNNY VIDEO: How Confidence Helped Speight Connect With Darboh in OT at OSU

It’s been almost a year since former Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight threw a pass for the Wolverines, and it’s been a year and a half since he took on Ohio State in a vaunted matchup at The Horseshoe.

Now, Speight is preparing to quarterback for his new team, UCLA, as he transferred to Westwood this offseason.

But, back in May, he was at the Steve Clarkson QB Retreat, where he met up with Sparling Sports Labs’ Brent Sparling (AKA “Football’s Missing Link” AKA former Michigan QB Brian Letscher) for a hilarious video where Sparling asks several participants in the camp where their confidence comes from.

While Georgia’s Jake Fromm of WVU WR David Sills partook, it was Speight who gave the best (as well as most hilarious) answers, especially when he reminisced about how confidence helped him connect with Amara Darboh in the endzone during overtime against Ohio State in 2016.

Watch the video above.
