As the Michigan – Notre Dame rivalry is set to renew on Sept. 1, all eyes will be on two of college football’s winningest teams, and now there’s even more hype to go along with the on-field festivities.
With the two teams ranked in the teens in the inaugural Amway Coaches Poll, it’s already one of the biggest games of the Week One slate. So big, that ESPN announced on Saturday that College Game Day will be broadcasting its morning show live from South Bend.
College Game Day is no stranger to this rivalry. Naturally, they were present for the first Under the Lights matchup, and returned for the second one as well.
As the announcement shows, the very first episode was live in South Bend.
Michigan and Notre Dame will kick off at 7:30pm at Notre Dame Stadium.
