Michigan offered Allen on May 11.

Lexington (Ky.) Catholic 2020 three-star pro-style quarterback Beau Allen is excited to get to Michigan for the BBQ at the Big House on July 28.

“I’m looking forward to talking more to the coaches and learning about them,” he said. “I’m excited to compete and spend time with some great athletes. I also can’t wait to play in the Big House.”

Michigan offered the pro-style quarterback on May 11. Since then, he has worked on formulating a relationship with passing game coordinator Pep Hamilton.

“I already like the coaching staff,” Allen added. “The atmosphere at Michigan is great. Everyone is very upbeat and has a great intention in everything they do. I love the program because there is nothing like the University of Michigan, especially with the football history.”

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback has offers to play for Kentucky, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Maryland and Michigan.

“I am highly considering Michigan,” Allen said. “I’m open to learning more about each school before I commit to whatever school fits best.”

Allen has also found himself interested in Kentucky, Maryland, Cincinnati and Ole Miss. Since being offered by Michigan on May 11, Allen received an offer from Cincinnati (June 4) and camped at North Carolina (June 15).

Kentucky: “I really like Kentucky. I have a great relationship with all of the coaches there and I look forward to talking more and seeing them play.”

Maryland: “I have developed a great relationship with a lot of different offensive coaches and love the school.”

Cincinnati: “I have not gotten to talk to their coaches as much as other schools, but when I have, I really like the people they are. I look forward to being able to learn more about them and their program.”

Ole Miss: “I had a great time at Ole Miss and really like them. I love the coaching staff, school and program.”

Allen is ranked No. 415 in the 2020 class, No. 18 at his position and No. 6 in the state of Kentucky, according to 247Sports Composite.

“I do not know when I am going to commit, but Michigan is high on my list,” Allen stated.
