Ohio State is the slight favorite to win the Big Ten Conference title.

Michigan earned 1.5 first-place votes.

According to cleveland.com preseason poll of 28 writers, Ohio State will defeat Wisconsin to win the Big Ten Conference football title in 2018.

Michigan, on the other hand, will finish fourth in the Big Ten East, behind Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State.

The Buckeyes received 23.5 first-place votes while MSU picked up two and Michigan 1.5 votes respectively. Penn State got one first-place vote, but more overall points than the Wolverines.

In the Big Ten championship prediction, Ohio State received 14 votes to Wisconsin’s 13, while Michigan State had the one other title game pick.

The Badgers gained all 28 first-place votes in the Big Ten West, ahead of Iowa, Northwestern, Nebraska, Purdue, Minnesota and Illinois.

Cleveland.com has been doing an online preseason poll for eight years. The poll was conducted ahead of Big Ten Media Days, which take place Monday and Tuesday in Chicago.
