One of the best in Florida is coming to Ann Arbor…

Josh Sanguinetti is one of the best players in the state of Florida, taking the field on Friday night for University School in Fort Lauderdale.

The 2019 four-star safety is taking his talents to Ann Arbor for an unofficial visit on July 28, which is the date of Michigan’s annual BBQ at the Big House.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the campus and how the players and coaches interact with each other,” Sanguinetti said. “I want to see if there’s a family atmosphere.”

Lately, Sanguinetti has been hearing a lot from Nebraska, Michigan, Ole Miss, Florida and LSU, but is still interested in Stanford and Miami.

He said Ohio State is in the mix, but falling out fast due to lack of contact.

“Michigan has a great football program and great education,” Sanguinetti said.

Michigan has made defensive backs coach Michael Zordich the primary recruiter for the four-star prospect.

“We have a really nice relationship,” the safety claimed.

Michigan will “for sure” get an official visit during the regular season. Sanguinetti said he will announce his commitment and sign on National Signing Day, which is Feb. 6.

“Playing early and academics (are important),” Sanguinetti said. “I want to major in business. I want to own my own company. I don’t want to work for anybody else other than myself.”

In the 2018 season for University School, Sanguinetti had 60 tackles, 12 pass breakups and 7 interceptions. He is ranked No. 164 in his class, No. 9 at his position and No. 23 in Florida, according to 247Sports composite.

Sanguinetti competed in The Opening Finals for Team Overdrive. His team won the 7-on-7 championship at the event in Frisco, Texas. He will also play in the 2019 Polynesian Bowl in Honolulu on Saturday, Jan. 19.
