He called his Michigan visit ‘a game changer’ just a week ago.

Now Aurora (IL) West four-star defensive tackle Denver Warren has cut his list down to five, and Wolverines have made the list.

Warren took to Twitter on Sunday to cut down his list of suitors from the 15 reported offers to 5: Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Penn State.

Michigan is the perceived favorite, having made something of a late 247Sports Crystal Ball run, with 83% of the 12 predictions favoring the Wolverines.

Warren most recently visited Ann Arbor this past weekend, and was blown away by everything he saw. He told WolverinesWire before he left campus:

“I could pull (the trigger) at any point,” Warren said. “I know where I want to go. I talked to my mom. I know – in those two days that I’ve been up here in Ann Arbor, it’s just a game changer. A whole different mindset.”

The four-star defensive tackle (per ESPN)is rated as the 286th-best prospect in the 2020 class per the 247Sports Composite, the 5th-best player in the state of Illinois and the 23rd-ranked DT.
