The Thousand Oaks (CA) Oaks Christian four-star running back recruit pledged to Michigan football on Sunday evening.
Four-star 2019 RB Zach Charbonnet Commits to Michigan
Make that two for the day.
In the morning, it was Fairfield (OH) Erick All who pledged to join Michigan’s 2019 class, and now the Wolverines are adding a little more starpower.
Four-star running back Zach Charbonnet, rated by 247Sports as the 220th-rated prospect, regardless of position, and the nation’s 9th-best RB, took to Twitter Sunday evening to pledge his commitment to the maize and blue.
At 6-foot-2, 215-pounds, Charbonnet fits well in the head coach Jim Harbaugh’s system, and is the highest-rated tailback to commit to Michigan since embattled RB Kareem Walker did so as part of the 2016 class.
Charbonnet picked Michigan over offers from USC, UCLA, Washington and Wisconsin, and is the Wolverines 13th commitment of the class and sixth rated a four-star or better.
