Michigan Football Adds Second 2020 Commitment

Two days, two 2020 commitments.

On Tuesday, three-star Columbus (OH) Northland WR Kalil Branham pledged his commitment to Michigan, and on Wednesday, an in-state target joined him in the 2020 class.

Speedy Belleville (MI) three-star CB Andre Seldon — who reportedly ran a 4.38 40-yard dash at Michigan’s camp on Monday — received an offer from the Wolverines staff soon after. He told WolverinesWire that evening that he planned to make a commitment by the end of summer, but, it turns out, Seldon couldn’t wait any longer, pulling the trigger and making his lifelong dream a reality.

Seldon took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to announce that he’s officially becoming a Wolverine, just two days after his offer from the staff.

“There’s nothing like being a Michigan Man!” Seldon told WolverinesWire, moments before he made his pledge to the maize and blue official.

Seldon made it official, calling head coach Jim Harbaugh first, and then letting defensive coordinator Don Brown that he is joining the class.

The Belleville (MI) recruit is rated as a three-star at 350th overall by 247Sports. He’s the eighth-rated player in the state of Michigan for the 2020 class and the 24th-best cornerback.
