The Big House will look different in 2018, that’s for sure.
LOOK: Michigan Coach Reveals New End Zones
On Friday, Michigan announced that The Big House would have blue endzones for the first time in history.
Fan reaction has been mostly positive to the idea, but that will hinge both on the final product with the new blue endzones, as well as the product on the field.
A fan rendering made its rounds over the weekend, but on Monday, we got our first look at the real thing.
Michigan defensive backs coach Mike Zordich took to Twitter and gave fans their first glimpse of the blue endzones, featuring the maize block-lettering spelling Michigan within.
Beyond fan approval, the official Rose Bowl Twitter account approved of the change, tweeting over the weekend how similar the planned look would be to when Michigan plays in the granddaddy of them all.
